Duisdale House Hotel recently scooped The HRS Award for Marketing Excellence for 2010 at a glittering ceremony in London.
Hotel owners Anne Gracie and Ken Gunn, along with Manager David MacDonald and Anita Ujszaszi, were invited to attend the Awards Ceremony in London having being selected to go through to the finals in two key categories – Marketing and Innovation.
The glittering awards ceremony was attended by 150 industry representatives. Renowned TV and Radio presenter, Simon Calder – also Travel Editor of The Independent - hosted the event.
The Duisdale Hotel won the Marketing Excellence Award and was also a finalist in The Robert Ragge Award for Innovation which was won by The Dubrovnik Hotel and Restaurant in Bradford for their innovative recession-beating initiatives.

The next major event on their calendar is The Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards which will to be held in the acclaimed Prestonfield Hotel in Edinburgh on 28 March 2010. Duisdale House Hotel has been nominated as a finalist for Hotel of the Year.
