VisitScotland has developed a series of free sustainable business events which promote business growth through the encouragement of sustainable business practices. These events are designed to develop a greater understanding and awareness of sustainable tourism and its benefits. Aimed at small to medium-sized businesses across all sectors from bed and breakfasts to visitor attractions.
The next events in the series will be held in Stirling and Fort William and will take the format of seminar and workshop where businesses can interact with experts, through sustainability surgery, consultancy support from key partners with easy practical advice on topics including:
- waste reduction
- water and energy use,
- community engagement and procurement.
Date and Venue:
- Thursday 11 March, Stirling Management Centre, Stirling
- Wednesday 24 March, Fort William, venue to be confirmed
