Glamis Castle laid claim to being ‘known as the "most haunted castle in Scotland"’ in an article produced by CraveOnline, a top male lifestyle title last year.

The article, titled ‘Visiting the Ghosts of Glamis Castle: Most Haunted in Scotland’, reached over 920,000 people and was the result of a journalist visiting Angus as part of a press trip themed around the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology.

Published on 31 October, the article features some striking images of the castle and an air of mystery; after all, it was Halloween. You can read the full article at

Glamis Castle featured again within BILD - the biggest newspaper in Germany. This popular publication reaches over 10 million people online and over two million in print. The coverage was once again a result of a Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology themed press trip of Scotland, covering various regions including Angus.
