Working with the industry - listening to the industry

Working with Scotland’s tourism industry is inspiring. Our £12 billion industry must surely be one of the most dynamic sectors delivering for Scotland’s economy right now.

VisitScotland is committed to working closely with partners across Scotland and being responsive to industry needs, to ensure success. We’ve just published a document that showcases some of the work we’ve been doing – take a look.

Working with event organisers, tourism businesses and communities to support activity in celebration of the Themed Years has attracted new visitors, extra expenditure and illustrated perfectly what our country can do when we work together. We would be keen to hear your thoughts on the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design via this short survey.

And of course, if you don’t already have ideas on how to get involved in this year’s theme – the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology – we have the tools to support you.

Please enjoy this month’s eUpdate.
